Detail
Mao Jian literally means Fur Tips. This beautiful Green tea?is hand-plucked in Spring with only the tippy or 'fuzzy' leaves being chosen. The tips are?tightly rolled and then pan-fried creating a neatly compacted, curly leaf with a gentle fuzz.
These succulent, neat little tips impart a smooth and golden amber, beautiful to the eye.Often a preferred green in the UK market owing to a smooth taste with no astringent flavour typically associated with green teas. It is smooth and full-bodied.
Mao Jian traditionally hails from Henan Province, while this particular?harvest is from the southerly high mountain terrain in Hunan Province . Mao Jian Hunan is considered a fine grade Green tea in China.
A sublime treat to all senses with every slurp.
