Detail
This Chinese Dong Fang Mei Ren is a beautiful oriental oolong tea, known for its unique, iconic flavour, recognised for a distinctive sweetness with complex muscatel and floral notes. Grown in the lush landscaped Hsinchu and Taoyuan regions of Taiwan , these perfectly shaped white tippy leaves are carefully handpicked in the summer and skillfully handled under the hydrolysis and oxidation process by the tea master.
It withholds complex hues and the decadence of an oriental cultivar speciality oolong - an elicit depth of pine, peach and orchid taste notes, fresh ripe fruit aroma and a smooth honey mouthfeel - a testament to the mastery of tea crafting.
